RE: A4 sport wheels (7 spoke)

Has anyone tried these on a type 44? I've lined up a pretty good deal,
but
I'd love to see how they look on the car. Mine is actually a wagon if
that
matters. I'm guessing the fit will be good -- they are ET45 -- but I was
really hoping for the five-spoke A4 or A8 wheels. Any insight
appreciated.

Tim, this is a tad late, but I've got those wheels on an '88 5kTQ, and
I think they look rather nice.  They do rub a touch if you spin the
wheel to lock & punch the gas, but if you drive like a normal human
being they don't rub.  I've had mine on the track (most of the time
anyhow...) and they never rubbed in the most severe of twisties.  The
only probelm with them is that they look like they actaully belong on
the car...
