funny K26 '89 200q ECU behavior

Haudi,

The problem:  I get full (1.4 with ECU WOT control) boost off the
brakes, but I can't LF-brake the thing without killing the engine. Ned
says to cut the mistakenly-connected auto-trans wire to the ECU, but I
don't know which one it is!

The sticker on the side says:
VW/Audi
035905383T
MAC11C
VEZM
8512

The sticker on top (near the 900-pin connector) says MAC11C5477

The brown/gray wire and the brown/blue wire have both been toyed with in
a previous life.

What do I do to make this car give me boost while braking??? Do I have
the right ECU?
