What kind of tires/rims are you 92-94 100CSQ owners running ?

Hi again, has anyone out there upgraded you tire/rim setup on your 92-94
100CSQs ?   My question is exactly what fits ???   I know the stock setup
is 195 55x15.  I'd like to upgrade and have been calling around. 

The response I've been getting is uhm, confusing...   Without mentioning
any names one of the larger mail order places says that if I want to go
to a ultra-high performance deal I can fit a 225 50x16. Another mail order
place says no way. Audi says "why would you want to change from the 195
55x15 ?  they recommend I stick with it". So, what do I do ? What are
you all running ?

Could you please send your replys directly to me, I had to unsubscribe since
I plan to be out of the office for a couple of days and know how quickly
