Anyone using Bilsteins on type 44?

I'm planning on putting these on my 89 200 tqw. I've heard lots of comments
like: "they'll rattle fillings" or "they ride to hard for a daily driver,"
but all these comments come from folks with smaller car (like Rabbits)
experience. I'm thinking that the bulk of my tqw will somewhat offset the
stiffness of the Bilsteins. For what it's worth, I plan to use the HD/Sports
(not Sprints), use the stock springs, and renew needed rubber bits and strut
bearings with Audi OE parts. I'm installing 16" wheels with Dunlop sp8000
tires. I'm hoping for a more "sporting" ride. I'll expects some loss of
plushness -- heck with my blown rear struts the car rides like a 69 Chrysler
anyway! -- but don't want the car to become a rattle bucket either.

Any comments from those who have BTDT?

89 200 tqw -- lago blue, sports seats. Bone stock, but look out, I've got
shopping to do.
