Can't say I'm impressed. Yet another 'frames obsessed' web site that
throws away huge borders all around a tiny pseudo-page that you
can't bookmark in Netscape. On a 14" screen (that's all I have on the
only machine with web access) the font is so miniscule that it doesn't
resolve at all.
It's a tiny bit better than the (truly awful) German site - at least
the pages download in less time than it takes to make and eat breakfast.
Audi's web page designers seem to be obsessed with 'Vorsprung durch
Technik' and delight in using twiddly bits that 95% of the world's
browsers don't understand. They should realise that, despite all the
sexy stuff in the engine bay, Audis are actually _driven_ using
long-established control layouts - clutch on the left, etc.
Web pages are the same. Using every last gizmo isn't clever - it puts
barriers in the way of your message.
