Re: Starting woes '89 100Q
It was the starter. I couldn't afford to wait while it got too bad to
drive (it's my wife's daily driver). I normally have four cars for three
drivers but one is on the injured disabled list ('85 Jetta) with a sick
tranny. Isn't that always the way! I went for a Bosch rebuilt. The
original was a Hitachi and Bosch makes a rebuild to fit. In any event ,
it's all fixed. Thanks everyone for the help
