Hydraulic System Damper Hose - 200tq

As I said before on this topic, when I was changing my timing belt I must
have disrupted the damper hose. I tried tightening the mid length joint but
it was not loose. The leak appears to be coming from down in the thick
rubber hose section below the joint. Nothing is coming out of the hose at
the accumulator end. Also, I failed to report a dull "hammering" coming
from the hydraulic pump. So maybe the damper hose is crimped and leaking.
By the way when I did my timing belt job, I didnot disconnect the pump but
shifted it up and back some.

Commemts, please.
