That's right, but of course it doesn't actually drive the fans... :-)

I'd do the water pump. This came up a few weeks ago and maybe a half-
dozen stories poped up relating water pump failures in the neigborhood
of 60k. The reason this is critical is that the water pump is driven by
the timing belt. If the pump fails, at best you're paying all that labor
again to get to it; at worst, it causes the belt to snap and results in
bent valves, broken heads, etc.

Around 60k, I was able to do all of the following (most are recommended at
60k) for under $750: timing belt, timing belt tension rollers, water pump,
thermostat, serpentine belt, air filter, spark plugs and fuel filter. I
bought all the parts from Carlsen; I paid a dealer to do the timing belt
and water pump stuff and did the rest myself.
