Hi Ben;

    I have found that I have to service the rear calipers on my '91 200q
annually to keep them in good working order. Each fall when installing my
winter tires I clean and lube the guide pins, remove the rust from the pad &
caliper contact points & lube the contact points with a good waterproof
brake lube. I also lube the emergency brake shafts at this time. This has
solved the problem I used to have with the rear calipers seizing up.
    If your caliper is working freely and your brakes are still binding, you
may have other problems in the system. Other listers have reported that a
deteriorated brake hose can cause the brakes to bind. A sticky emergency
brake cable or e-brake mechanism could also cause the brakes to bind.
