"I've owned a lot of Fords since 1949 and I don't care what they
say
about this Edsel, I'm going to buy it!"
Or," I've owned lots of Chevys and enjoyed them. I'm going to get
a
Corvair to drive in the rain".
.....
Hey! I resemble that. My Corvair was great in the rain. (To be fair I
should note that I drove on Firestone rain race tires.) It was also fast in
the snow, but it required much more concentration to do so than my 90q does.
(On the other hand, today's snow tire technology is much better than it was
in the '60s.) The secret, well known today, but generally unheard of in the
'60s, was to use snow tires all around.
