Was: Accessories; Now: Hottest July (absolutely no Audi content)

To: quattro
My opinion only (and maybe its biased being an American),
but I highly doubt that the hottest July on record has ANYTHING AT ALL to
do with supposed greenhouse gases. Excuse me, but doesn't this particular
July also fall within the first year in some time that the overall median
(or perhaps it was the average) temperature fell worldwide?

Please let's not follow Al Gore (of all people) down any road.

Sorry for the BW, but I am a little upset that Al Bore, er, Gore is using
this temperature record to push a 6 billion dollar anti-greenhouse gas
(read: automotive witchhunt) bill down the U.S.'s throat. For the
European's among us, don't think that it won't affect you all either,
manufacturers may find it economically efficient to strap everyone with
whatever comes of this farce.

Let the arguments begin....

You would probably find the negative publicity about the USA over the
last few days (July was the hottest month _EVER_ globally) hard to
believe. The USA is the world's largest producer of greehouse gases,
and the most intransigent about their control.
