235/40-17 isn't really the closest proper plus sizing.  Most A4
owners that upgrade to 17" use 225/45-17.  Anyways, the 2.8 doesn't
generate near enough to justify 235's.  I know.  I have one, and
it's chipped by Wetterauer even.  Here's an earlier post on the list:
