Subject:	anybody with 235/40-17 on their A4Qs?

with all the problems that i'm having with my wife's
A4 2.8Q avant, i'm just wondering if any digesters out
there with 235/40-17 on their A4s? especially if their
A4s happen to be the 2.8 quattro with sports package?
(not that it should matter really)

as i mentioned in my previous post "A4 alignment nightmare",
my wife's car is still pulling to the right. even with the
stock 16" wheel. but obviously the wider and lower profile
tires magnify the pull. but the strangest thing is that i
swapped her set of dunlop SP8000s to my car and my car
tracks straight. which means that there's nothing wrong with
that set of tires. now the avant has a set of toyo T1 proxes
same size (235/40-17). and that set pulls to the right, of
course.

i really can't believe that those german designers consciously
designed a car that can only be fitted with 205/55-16 wheels
and tires?

if you have 235/40-17 on your A4, i'd like to hear your
experience (ie: does your car tracks straight?).

thanks for any input.
