4k csq starter

OK Folks,

I spent some time frustrated today trying to get the starter off my '86 4kcsq.
What is the secret?  Take off the exhaust?  Fuel injection?  Maybe the
passenger side tire?

I took the bottom bolt off with no problem, but it looks like there is a bolt
up high, the business end of which seems to be behind the exhaust header.  How
on earth do I get this off?????
