Help II

OK, several people were kind enough to offer me some advice on why the starter
would not start (and no selenoid "click") on my 86 4kcsq.  A few people
diagnosed this perfectly.  The braided wire that runs from the selenoid to the
starter was corroded to the point of disintegration.  Now I have about an inch
of wire that looks OK coming from the starter, but will not reach the selenoid.
 ANyone know how to patch this???  A tough patch that will withstand the nasty
Michigan winters and roads
