4ksq Rear Brake Question

Hi All, just a quick question about the rear brakes.  I was changing the
pads the other day and couldn't get the dang brake piston to depress.  It
wouldn't budge.  I called a VW mechanic I know and he said that you need a
special tool to do this- applies pressure and turns it simultaneously.  Just
wondering if there is any way around this- preferably an easy one.  As
always any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
