Re: 4ksq Rear Brake Question

Unfortunatley without the correct tools retracting the rear calipers is
not easy, at the dealership we use a screw type affair that rotates the
piston and pushes it in at the same time (available from any tool truck).
I have seen people use a standard size pair of water pump pliers to grab
the edge of the piston and slowly turn it 2-3 rotations and then squeeze it
a litle with either a larger pair of pliers or a c-clamp. This works o.k.
but is rather time consuming. One hint before you move the piston
carefully lift the boot away from the piston and spray in some pure
silicone so the boot does not "stick" to the piston and tear it, otherwise
good luck.
