        Might this clamp be similar to method used to crimp "Oitecker" clamps
together?

By the way, Oitekers my choice of clamp for practically all fuel, water, and
vacuum lines. Provided you keep stocking up the tool box  ; also keep in "emerg"
kit along with
ordinary adjustable SS clamps.
PS. depending on condition of connection, will also use small qty! of  liquid or
plastic tape Teflon
