A variant used around the Pittsburgh end of Pennsylvania (or so I'm told)
is something like: "yuns" (maybe "you-uns"?). Sounds to me as though it is
a plural form, but I'm not even sure if it's pronounced with one or two
syllables.
This is true. We pronounce it either YINZ, YUNZ, or u-UNZ. Over the course
of the last 2 weeks travels (German and graduation party in philly), Many
occasions to use the plural form of you have (ihr and yous..respectively)
have occured. In my opinion the regional english subsitutes, though often
slangy, have a valid niche in the language. Just my $.02
In addition, during my vacation I had a Kenwood KRC-S505 installed in my
200t. So far I am overjoyed with the sound. The Stock speakers powered
by this head unit produce an incredible sound. Next week, 10 disc changer.
The folks at cructhfield were a great help too. Later.
