Believe it or not, the easiest way for me was to remove the entire coolant
outlet. 2 10MM bolts a light tap with a plastic mallet and the whole thing
comes off. This allowed me to bead blast the outlet and knock off all the
crud that accumulates around the nozzle outlet. You need to have a new
outlet gasket and you do have to drain the coolant of course. To remove
the switch, put the old sensor in a vise and stick a pipe into outlet
flange (I used my hydraulic jack's handle). With the PS pump on one side
and the vacuum pump on the other, this save me quite a bit of dismantling
(87.5 CGT).
