RFI: PS Fluid Leak '87 5KTQW

Hi and thanks again in advance.

I have a 1987 5KTQW and it has developed a quirky power steering fluid
leak - out of the top of the cap of the reservoir! Here'sa a little
background. Yes, the rack leaks a bit; yes, the pump leaks a little; no,
the levels in the reservoir are not too high. Any thoughts??

I tried putting on a new cap and that did not good. The deal thought it
might be somthing in the rack or the pump creating some kind of back
pressure in the system. Make sense? or just a try to get me to get them
replaced.

Anyway, if you have any thoughts or experience in this, I'd appreciate it!
