Bill,

I use auto epoxy. I think it is from Permatex but it is the kind with a
hardener kept separately and you mix the two to activate it. You have to be
careful and hold it for about 4 minutes until it sets but when it does not
even an Audi engineer could get it to come lose. (Well maybe a 100 Audi
engineers in a room for 100 years ... yada, yada, yada).  Just don't miss or
you will permanently attach the part in the wrong spot, or your fingers to the
car which is worse.
