The 'ur' quattro was the Iltis. The WR is a crude machine. Production
for consumers started in 1981 - two years into the program, the doors
were opened to North America. Two years later (1985 model year) they
were closed again. The 1981 - 1985 section of the wiring diagrams,
for instance, occupy less than 1 cm. Yet the book is 5 cm thick.
