Re: Strut cartridge cap tool

Daniel,

The company you are looking for is Zelenda Automotive Inc.
Telephone 718-896-2288
Toll free 888-892-8348
Fax 718-896-4378
Ask for the Volkswagen-Audi Special Tools Catalog.

BTW I just replaced the strut inserts/cartridges on my 864kcsq. I
removed the struts for the job. One cap came off with the large
channel lock pliers the other required a 24" pipe wrench. To install
the new caps I used the channel locks & a guess as to the torque.

Just out of curiosity, how do you do that job with the strut on the car?
