Did I kill my OXY sensor????

I had a new exhaust designed for my 86 4kcsq.  It now is 2 1/4 from the cat
back with no resonator into a cherry bomb muffler out to chrome Monza tips.
It is nice and loud, but I might put a resonator on it to make it legal.  2
days after the conversion, my OXS light came on while I was driving.  Then
later my car stalled a couple times.  And then it wouldn't start for a couple
minutes.  Did I do something wrong?
