RE: Air Bag Light staying on...??
What if you did not get a recall notice? I'm pretty sure that when I bought
my Avant in 11-96, I filled out and sent in the card from the
warranty/service manual for change of ownership. I wonder if there's a way
I can check on this. Any ideas? Actually I just remembered I received the
airbag warning sticker so they must have my address, etc. The Avant is my
first Audi with an airbag. They may have had my old address in Iowa,
though. I wonder if the mailings for recalls are forward-able mail. When
did this recall campaign begin? Maybe I should call 1 800-AoA-AUDI or some
such number to check on this.
