Your're right, we stop every two to three hours. the actual stop time is
closer to 20 minutes by the time you pull off the interstate and find a gas
station or a McDonald's. That's why it takes 24 hours to go 1400 miles
driving 70 mph. Your English reads like you grew up in the U.S. so you're
probably very familiar with the interstate system here.
This thread has drawn some unexpected ire. I think our British friends have
lost some of their sense of proportion and humor. Sorry for the lack of Audi
content.
