In Europe it is a common practice to make frequent stops during longer
trips. Although my 5KT is an US spec car, it has a nifty feature in the
trip computer: it will start to blink after driving for more than 2 hours
without stop. Every 2-3 hours I pull over, then eat, drink and do few
simple exercises to fight fatigue. A 5min stop every 2 hours doesn't slow
you a bit and you don't have to eat and drink while driving.
