Dying 84 Coupe GT Needs to Pass Emmision Test

Good Afternoon!

My 84 Coupe GT barely passed the emission test two years ago,
and it's time to test it again. I may part this Coupe out in
the near future. But, in the meantime, I have no choice but to
keep it licensed & insured, and to do that, it must pass
inspection.

HC and CO levels were at the upper limits last time, and I
suspect the lambda sensor is kaput. I really don't want to 
spend any more money on parts for this car.

What's the secret to get this thing to pass? What commercial
chemical preparation can I dump into the tank, and how can I
adjust the idle mixture, etc, to get it to pass?
