A circlip.  Reach behind and feel the window where it attaches to
the block that rides up and down the regulator rail.  You'll find it.
It is in a position that's awkward for any circlip tool unless you
remove the outer door shell, but fortunately you don't need to do
that.  Just bend the head of a strong iron nail 90 degrees and use it
to pull the circlip off.
