Re: Window regulator?/Car cover needed
If I answer your question, will you send it to me instead since I'm in the
middle of rebuilding said regulator for the 2nd time.
There are two ways to go about it.
(1) If your hands are small enough, there is a lock ring that holds the
window on
which you need to pop off.
(2) Otherwise you have to take the door apart. The black interior portion of
the
door that the regulator is mounted to (including the window frame) can be
unbolted
from the exterior body of the door. There should be 4 bolts around the
corners to
remove. You then have to lift the interior piece up and out (window and
regulator
included). DON'T FORGET TO DISCONNECT ALL WIRES/HOSES FROM
THE INTERIOR PANEL.(I speak from experience :-) ) You can then look the
lock ring square in the face and pop it off to remove the window.
