Well, the dept and the university are right on the money... As far as
professor... Maybe 10 -15 years from now :-)  I am in my 5th year of grad
school, finishing up. Doing experimental stuff, hence  the interest in
_moving things_.

Good luck with your purchase. It's a great car, btw. And you really want a
5cyl engine, I test drove a 4cyl 80, non-quattro and in felt strongly
underpowered. I think the car is heavier than the 4000 series, our other
car is 4000S automatic and it feels adequately fast... With the list's
help, I came to the conclusion that the non-turbo 10V 5cyl engine is the
ideal compromise between performance and the cost of maintenance, although
it took all of the combined  common sense of my wife and myself not to get
a  5000 turbo q we drove once. Boy that car drove well. Just not something
you can keep on a student's budget.
