Re: How do you change the Coolant??

Oops, I forgot a couple of things!

-When you loosen the bleeder screws, just loosen them about 2 turns.
-When refilling, you'll need about 11 liters of fluid (just under 3
gallons)...the book recommends 4.4l antifreeze (#G11; it's a special
antifreeze so don't just use the green stuff) to 6.6l water.

The bleeder screws...
If you're looking at the engine from the front of the car:
The engine block drain is at the bottom of the engine near the
flywheel. The radiator drain is on the bottom corner of the radiator,
next to a hose...it's a large screw that sticks out a little. There are
two bleeder screws. One is on the large coolant hose on the right side
of the engine in the back, near the cylinder bank. It's next to the
coolant temp sensor. The other bleeder is just next to the
firewall--there are two large hoses that go into the firewall right next
to each other, the bleeder is on the hose on the left.

HTH!
