Kind to be cruel?- window regulators

<<The problem is one window has already slowed
down markedly compared to its neighbour. It appears as if the rubber seal
is asserting too much drag on the window.

Question- Should I take the door apart and try to remove a bunch of those
clips? and run the risk of more water in door?>>

On our 5Ks I lube everything inside the door with silicone. Normally just
shoot some ArmorAll (or equivalent product) down the window tracks. Plus I
will occasionally give a squirt into the window regulators themselves. It
easier than trying to grease the suckers. Haven't worked on the '84 4KQ much
yet, but I figure silicone would be helpful there as well.
