4kq power locks

OK,

My 87 4kq has trouble with the locks. When the drivers lock is activated, 
only it and the front passenger door open (no rears, no trunk). I swapped 
out the lock regulator in the trunk, and it would only open the drivers 
door! With each one, I could hear the regulator buzzing for 30-45 seconds; 
is this normal? Is it trying to open the other doors?

Could there be a cracked line somewhere, but still allow the system to 
work? Could it have something to do with the trunk lock having been 
changed, and possibly not being reconnected to the vacuum system?
