I'd hate to see someone mess up their car because of increasing their
boost. If you're going to increaseyour boost in any fasion just check
your spark plugs(to make sure there not leaning out), listen for knock,
buy a boost guage,clean fuel fliter, strong fuel pump, and increase the
boost very slowly. Remember high flow exhaust and intake will also
increase your boost. Your boost wil also increase a nearly all ranges.

True, if you can run the car at WOT (and full boost) for long enough
time.
Where, except on a track can you expect to operate the vehicle in this
manner in the Good Ole USA? Montana? Don't count on it. In only short
bursts of WOT operation the excessive heat becomes just another moot
point.
