Not sure about the interchangeability, but $250 (USD) is about the rebuilt price from a number of our list suppliers.  Try John Simick- jsimick@erols.com.  He has taken care of me for the V8 rack as well as other
Audi parts.  60 days warranty does not come close to the 12 or 24 months warranty you can get on a rebuilt.  You are in dangerous territory with your talk of  using PS fluid in an 84 5Ks.  That is a pentosin
car.  These Audi folks don't like it when owners abuse their cars.  (I'm asking to get flamed here.)
