RE: TOCA and Gran Turismo (absolutely NO Audi content)
I have one other major flaw additional to my obsessive love of my A4 - I am
addicted to racing sims on my PC.
Note I said "sims" and not "games" - there is a HUGE difference.
TOCA and Gran Turismo are excellent "games" but they fall way short of the
realistic driving available in simulators such as F1 Racing Simulation
(Ubisoft), CART Precision Racing (Microsoft) and the soon to be released
(available as downloadable demo) Grand Prix Legends (Papyrus). Internet play
with other sim nutters is one of the most exciting computing experiences
available (I won't elaborate on the other(s) :))
IMHO Grand Prix Legends will write a new chapter in computer motor racing
simulation - totally authentic recreation of the 1967 F1 season.
Get your hands on a good race sim with top quality wheel and pedals such as
Thrustmaster's Nascar Pro and you'll see what I mean.
