I've heard that if the car hasn't been agressively driven, the
transmission will be OK. Even if it will break sometime, a used one is
about $1000, that's affordable here in Norway, due to the fact that a
84 Audi 100 is at almost $6000.. Just an example: A 1992 100 2.8
Quattro is about $28000..
