If you haven't flushed the coolant in quite a while, you may be
surprised to see how much rust and crud can acumulate over the years.
You may want to use one of those radiator flush things from Preston
where you drive 10hrs or a week and then flush, but then repeat the
procedure daily using only distilled water (50 cents/gal) five to ten
more times until it comes out clear with no deposits, and then refill
with a mixture of distilled water and Audi antifreeze. A single
drain-and-refill simply isn't enough. And don't forget to open the
heater valve to flush that as well. HTH
