5kcs exh. man. studs
<<Should I replace all of them now while I have the manifold off for
extraction?>>
It a lot cheaper and easier to do it while you have the head in hand than to
put it back together and then have to do it a few miles later. The studs are
not expensive.
You probably break several of them during the removal process. I think five
broke on the head I worked this spring, and it only had 77K miles on it. Took
special effort to soak them with penetrating oil. It looked as if no anti-
seize lube was used on them. After getting them all out, I chased all the
threads with a tap as a precaution against problems with the install.
Later.
