Yup, lately we have had some pretty hot days in northern California
and even trips to Sacramento with its 108 degree heat, the A/C in my A4q
worked charms to keep things comfortable. The car is pearl white with
grey leather interior so maybe that makes it better than the darker shades.
One thing that's quite remarkable with the A4 climate control system
is the amount of air the system can push. With the fan going full tilt,
the blower can pump a SERIOUS amount of air through the cabin. This is
in stark contrast to the system in the 4000, which is really wimpy by
comparison. This means on the A4 the interior can cool down after being
parked in the sun pretty quickly.
I usually set the climate control to 70 deg F and it would be just
about right.
