Re: Escort's New Passport 7500
The V1 may be great and all, the industry standard. It is also true that
protection against radar is something you can't "put a price on", like
medical care. That said, I have used Cincinnati Microwave/Escort products
exclusively since the first Passport, and my dad used the original Escort,
and I have never been failed by it. Of course, I also memorized the signals
in my area, so I know what is false and what isn't.
But I never got billed incorrectly, their customer service is first rate
still (no effect from filing chapter whatever), and the products are good.
I use the solo and so does my dad (the detector is small enough to hide
above the sun visor here in Detector-Illegal Virginia -- try hiding the V1
somewhere cop can't see it!).
Of course, if you drive like a fool, no detector will "always" protect you.
But that is another story. I recommend the Escort products.
