I was wondering, what kind finish does the stock '84 4000 Audi wheels
have??  We took the wheel off tonight to clean them because there was
tons of brake dust on them, making them look really dark in color.  We
want to use some kind of alloy cleaner on the wheels, but we also want to
make sure we don't take the finish off the wheels.  Also, while putting
the wheels back on the car, we noticed what looked to be like "loc-tite"
on the lug nuts.  Does this mean possibly the dpo put it on the lug nuts
because the lug nuts come loose, or is there any other reason for someone
to do that.  Your answers are greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!
