85 urq - changed motor mount, lost engine power

I have just finished replacing the turbo side engine mount. On reassembly, the engine
starts normally but there is no power and no boost although the car is driveable.

To gain access to the top mounting nut, the hose and tubes connected to the air intake
plenum were disconnected, the branch hose from the main turbo discharge to inlet header
connected to the multiway tubing connector behind the metering unit wastegate was
disconnected, the bolts holding the metering unit to the plastic top of the air cleaner
box were disconned and the fuel metering unit tipped backwards until vertical. The air
filter and box were removed. Reassembly was, I thought, the reverse of dismantling but
obviously not.

The concertina hose from the inlet plenum to the turbo inlet was found to have bulged
inside - it seems to have more than one layer and the inner layer had blooned, presumably
under suction. This has been temporarily repaired whilst I get a new hose.

Before I take things apart, can anyone provide a lead - the symptoms seem to be those of
a major air leak but this would have to be before the air metering unit or presumably the
mixture would be too lean to fire.

Thanks in advance
