DO NOT do this. They will get ANI, ie your number and you cannot
block it when calling a toll free number.
Dialing a number like this can be construed harassment and I'm sure
you can't afford to defend a lawsuit.
Having said that, there is nothing wrong with calling and asking
questions about the product once or maybe even twice if they weren't
very good at answering the first time. Payphones or behind a PBX
is a preferred location to make such calls. After all, you don't
want to give them _your_ number to sell to a bunch of telemarketers.
BTW, you should consult a lawyer before doing anything above.

...and remember, caller-id blocking DOES NOT WORK when calling toll
free numbers.
