Anyone have experience replacing the 2nd gear syncro on an 88 80q? Mine is crunchy when cold (yes, I tried Redline). I don't want to rebuild, as everything else works and sounds fine (and I'm cheap and lazy) I'd just like to replace the syncro and seal it back up. I've done gearboxes before but I'm afraid of the need for special VAG tools. Any thoughts? Thanks, Dave
