I'm in a similar situation. (but different!)

I did my belt 3 months ago and changed the seal also. I thought it
was leaking oil from there also. Since then, the leak still seems
to be coming from there. My next guess is a leaky oil pump. I'm going
to get in there and make sure the oil pump bolts are torqued properly.
I'm also thinking about doing the oil pump and pan gaskets (but would
rather not get into that!).

BTW, before doing my belt, I had used an engine cleaner to degrease the
area around the crank shaft in a effort to pinpoint the leak. I was
sure that oil started showing up just below the crank shaft seal. :-(
