On my 83 Ur-Q the front speakers are glued to the grill and the grill and
speaker are held to the dash by two screws.  To remove them, remove the side
air vents, the glove box, on the right side (NA car) and remove the screws
from underneath.
On mine, I've replaced those speakers with Infinity Emit tweeters, and put
Quarts in the front doors.
