did you clean the switch contacts? it could also have been slightly
cockeyed so only one side closed properly. Anyway, you fixed it, that's
all that matters!
btw, the chime wire makes a great place to attach extra interior light
grounds!
My coupe had a chime... for a day. Both "new" coupes have them. grrrr!
the '85's upshift indicator even works (in reverse as well? hmmmmm gotta
check that one)
